Next you see a few of the small towns we drove through and Mammoth Ski Resort where we caught the bus to the Devils Postpile trailhead. I wish I had the camera when we were dancing at the top of the Rio.....un-f*%k@ng believable!!

What Happens in Vegas.......
Las Vegas.....how much fun. While attending a trade show and trying to have a vacation at the same time, I certainly managed! Since the rooms, entertainment, food and booze were gratis, it didn't cost much to have a good old time. We drove over to the strip since from the Rio it is too far to walk and parked. We took a couple of hours off and cruised the casinos on the strip. I doubled my $1 and promptly lost it at Ceasars! After the strip we went back and showered up for the best part of the Las Vegas section of our trip, the trade show farewell dinner! All four pools were set up with tables. There was food at every turn as well as beer and wine. Performers from Circue du Soleil were doing acts on the pool as well as around the tables and stage where a band was playing! After we spent the rest of the night dancing at the Voo Doo Lounge at the top of the Rio overlooking the entire city......crazy fun!
Devils Postpile and Rainbow Falls
After recovering from too much fun in Las Vegas we drove to Bishop CA and stayed the night. Thank goodness the Colonel was within walking distance! Early the next morning Contineintal breakfast and on the road.
